What I dont like about selectors and team management is they forgets who was ahead in pecking order.

Gill debut in 2019 NZ ODIs after that didnt got games,
Shaw picked in 2020 NZ ODIs didnt got picked.
Iyer was very good in 2017 ODI debut series, dropped & wasnt picked again.
Rayudu picked in 2018 then dropped in WC.
Shankar was good enough for WC 2019, but he is not good after that.(what's this)
Manish Pandey had been picked/dropped many times.
Suddenly after WC 2019, picks both Iyer and Pandey in ODIs and T20Is. wow! ODI fine, but T20I no!
Rishabh Pant and DK were picked/dropped like hell, no consistency and no clear message to them, selectors only filled insecurities in them.
Never felt Rahul as good ODI opener but they rotated him as opener, no 4 & 6.
Picked Shivam Dube from domestic performance, now faded away.
Sanju Samson got picked for ODIs from his T20 credentials. He is gun T20 player but not ODI player at the moment.
Axar Patel who was good enough for Asia cup 18, now no one taking his name for spin allrounder for ODIs.
Iyer will be the reserve batsman in test when someone like Priyank Panchal waiting for a long time.
Natrajan directly injected in ODIs, whereas Ishan Porel was with India A.
Navdeep Saini getting test call ahead of Mo Siraj
