When I talk about police shootings, I often consider the effect of tunnel vision on the officer while under a great deal of stress. Primal fear does that, and it takes a great deal of training to mitigate.

What I'm seeing with this so called pandemic, is people under acute fear reaction. Thus throwing active cognition out the window.

I also see a lack of memory recall, which is why the pro-commies seem to forget how 2 weeks to flatten the curve was finagled into unending.
The progression of this year has given me great insight into historical events which changed many countries for the worse.

Most recently it was the fear-porn following 9/11. 'Terror threat level' "How likely am I do be killed by terrorist today" on the screen.
I was much younger when that happened, but I could never understand how the collective fear gave rise to the PATRIOT Act and the subsequent abuses of FISA court.

Now I think I get it. Peoples are far too happy to toss away what should be sacred when faced with irrational fear.
And the worst part of all of this - No matter the outcome of this current situation, something similar will come up once again in the future.

I doubt many will look back and use this and the last fear induced panic as a guideline for how not to react.
