Why do people have children?
To be clear, I think choosing to have children and not choosing to have children are equally valuable. You don't get less love, less life experience, less of anything if you don't have children. Your life isn't "fuller" with them. It's just different.
I say this as someone who doesn't have children, but who has spent half my life helping to raise other people's children. Life isn't easier or harder or better or worse either way. It is truly just different. There's no "better" choice.
Also, to assume that someone who doesn't have kids "doesn't want them" is ignorant. Just as ignorant as asking someone without kids why they don't have them.
