One of the problems with the Democratic Party is that it doesn’t have a long-term game plan. It is not unified and it is reactionary.

For example: adding seats to SCOTUS. That is, in my opinion, a reactionary move that sounds good now but could bite us in the ass later.
Arguably, the Republicans have been in lockstep since the late 60’s/early 70’s. They decided what they wanted — keep rich white people rich and in power — and every move they’ve made has been toward that goal.
And they don’t care what you have to say about them — Mitch McConnell does not care if we call him Satan every minute of every hour. He does not care how he will be remembered. He has a mission and he does not stray from it.
GWB started TWO wars and gave tax cuts to the rich and then took his ass home to Texas to fucking Bob Ross his life away painting WOUNDED VETERANS OF THE TWO WARS HE STARTED.

He does not give a fuck that we’re out here calling him a war criminal.
From my reading (and I still have more reading to do) and observation, Democrats care entirely too much about what people think of them. How the conservatives will view them.

Who cares? If your decisions are on the right side of history you don’t have to justify them.
If Democrats gain control of the Senate with these two Georgia seats, they need to be courageous and say eff Republicans because that’s exactly what Republicans do to them.
