Quick thread on genetics and epigenetics and an mRNA vaccine

in 1953, Watson and Crick took credit re: the double helix of DNA. The theory of genetic inheritance took hold. The initial thought was that DNA molecules held all the information needed to make an organism.
The theory held that genetic information was stored in DNA, transcribed to RNA and translated into proteins. It was assumed to be a one way street. This lead to the assumption that DNA was a blueprint for the construction of the organism. We now understand this to be flawed.
Epi-genetics is a theoretical model which incorporates ideas supported by studies which reveal the active and constant modification of DNA which turns on, turns off, recombines and transfers modified genetic information to future generations. This means DNA isn't static.
Dynamic changes in DNA shifts the paradigm. Epi-genetics research has revealed some very interesting things. It appears that hormones, food, metabolites from cellular activity and even our thoughts interact with our DNA and affect our genetic output. A feedback loop.
This changes the concept of DNA from that of a blueprint which must be followed to a library of useful phrases which can be edited, combined and transmitted in unlimited combinations. DNA adapts to its environment, just like us.
This also means that our genes are not our destiny. In fact, it's much more liberating. It now appears that our genes give us an agile mechanism by which to adapt because our genes respond to our world, both inside and out. Every aspect of our physiology allows us to adapt.
We're endlessly creative beings with a body that can literally rewrite itself. It's up to us to learn the language and understand the mechanisms. This has profound implications for lifestyle choices, diet, food quality and the inherent healing potential of our bodies.
This also leads to more questions. If lifestyle/environment/food directly modifies our genetics and our physiology responds to everything in and around us, what happens when you inject a computer designed viral mRNA encapsulated in a lipid envelope into our cells?
What will it do in a few days? A few months? A few years? A few generations? We don't know. Plain and simple. We're like children fiddling with a hand grenade.
