Re-reading the Trump PA case just now, I’m struck that perhaps never has a man lost so many cases so quickly. It’s not just the volume of losses, but how fast and total they are. I’m a little impressed.

Getting creamed on the merits on appeal in 2 days is some kind of land speed record. Not just a motion for stay! A full merits affirmance!

The perennial lawyering question is a chicken v egg scenario. Did they lose so badly because their lawyers are had or because they’re bringing nonsense claims. Well, the claims. But otoh good lawyers wouldn’t lose those cases because they wouldn’t have brought them.
