also women wanting taller men comes from men wanting smaller women because they equate petiteness with femininity, so a way women counteract that is through getting a taller man to feel smaller. which don’t you think its strange how being little is the ‘’’desired’’’ body type
as someone who has always been petite and small, i found it strange when i’ve been deemed as ‘desirable’ because of my size because in my head i think i look too childlike? i could talk for hours about this
i’ve had boys i’ve been out with comment on my size and how they like it and make comments how young i look. slightly predatory but whatever
this doesn’t mean people don’t have preference or are consciously choosing childlike women, it’s something that’s just so ingrained into our society we barely notice it happening hth
