It is time for my agenda:

Joel Embiid is a top 5 clutch player in the league.
Joel Embiid was 7th in the NBA in 4th quarter points, with 7th-highest usage rate and a TS% of 60.7 This is higher than Lebron James, Kawhi Leonard, Luka Doncic, Jimmy Butler, etc.
According to http://NBA.com 's "Clutch" stats, Embiid was 2nd among all qualifying players in points per game and had a TS of 71.9%, which completely blows every other high usage player out of the water.
Joel's assist-to-turnover isn't what you'd like, but he was literally the best in the entire NBA at clutch scoring last season. But sure, give the ball to Alec Burks and get out of the way.
Embiid scored 43.2 points per 36 minutes in the clutch last season, with a FG of 53%, 3PT of 46%, and a FT of 88%. Hyper efficient in general, but that is borderline out of this world for a center.
Even limiting criteria to uselessly narrow samples (one possession games, under 2 minutes left, sixers trailing) Joel’s performance stays the same: hyper-efficient, draws tons of fouls, more turnovers than ideal. Essentially the stats are consistent regardless of situation.
Joel’s game isn’t as pretty as others. There is a real shot creation bias in the NBA, which is why players like Zach LaVine and Bradley Beal are sometimes regarded as more clutch than Jo.

If you’re into iso ball late game, not many people in the league are better at it than Jo.
These stats don’t even account for what Joel does on the defensive end, where he’s arguably better and has more “game saving” moments. Seriously. He is that fucking good defensively.
Basically, a handful of plays have burned a hole in your head and have left an everlasting mark of Joel being a shit crunch time player.

Some of the videos cut out, but here are my personal favorite Joel 4th quarter moments.
Agenda pushed. Joel is a monster in crunch time. Thanks for reading. Likes and retweets appreciated!
