The Highlight: VC have limited attention span because they have to context-switch so often. Founders just hate it: Sometimes VC barely be able to remember what you told them in the call just a week ago.
#StartUp I just found out the reason why #HanJipyeong forgot many things.
In this #startup scene Halmoni suddenly came during his work. Being interupted while working was definitely switching context. I get why #HanJipyeong suddenly forgot Dalmi's exact age. Even though we can also interpret the question as rhetorical question. #TeamJiPyeong
If a VC can barely remember what happen a week ago, I get why #HanJipyeong did not remember his birthday wish from 15th ago right away. I didn't know that this could be VC's occupational hazard befofe. #TeamJiPyeong #StartUp
VC has limited attention span – because they can’t afford to have a much longer one if they want to have a chance at doing their jobs.
We all know that #HanJipyeong is a hotshot VC who's good at his job. To be sr manager at that age. #teamhanjipyeong #StartUp
Highlight: VC to an extent is a numbers game: You have to look at a lot of opportunities to find the right ones that you want to invest in. A data point: Our firm looks at about 3500-4000 pitch decks every year, and we end up investing in about 20-30 companies out of those.
So if #HanJipyeong managed to invest on 30 #StartUp from 1000, and his failure rate is 4:30 (1:7.5), it's actually quite good. Coz industry standard failure rate 1:5. No wonders he's triggered by Chulsan comment that those unimpressive not high batting average. #TeamJiPyeong
Highlight: VCs have to make a lot of decisions with very incomplete information, and that’s why they are eager to get any data point they can.

That why #HanJipyeong always nags Park Dong Chun about numbers all the time.

#TeamJiPyeong #StartUp
VCs like to take their time with their decisions because it’s a good idea to do so.

Damn #HanJipyeong, You kill me! So you're late confession #StartUpEp10 also a part of occupational hazard combined with your whole abandonment issues as an orphan. More complicated than Jungpal.
VCs really don’t like to say “no” ... Because of that, telling a founder that you won’t invest in their startup is by far the hardest part of the job... “It’s too early for us” is a classic.

So #HanJipyeong at #StartUp at first was already tried the polite way to say no.
Hightlight: Almost all VCs I know are in the industry because they are fascinated by innovative new technologies and by the founders who create them.

The whole love-hate relationship between #HanJipyeong and Yongshil proved this. He want Yongshil to be good. #StartUp
So those are highlight from the articles that enlight me a lot about #hanjipyeong character. What do you guys think? Did I miss something?
