Reflections on my week in Trading:
1: Last Friday 11/20, I invested an irresponsibly large amount of my portfolio into a YOLO on OTM LEAPS on $PLTR (Palantir).
2: Today, I captured 250% gains on that trade, which I rolled into 70% common stock w/ CC's on $PLTR, and 30% cash.

3: This move assumed an enormous amount of risk (similar to my 2018 $TSLAQ trades) with some key differences:
a. It was bullish
b. Implied Volatility was much lower w/ $PLTR (at least a week ago - but not anymore! oh geez)
4: My timing was complete luck.

5: Winning feels good. This has not-quite-but-close eradicated my 2019 losses (mostly betting against Tesla).
6: Being irrationally exuberant about a stock isn't a bad thing, so long as you understand that you're doing it

7: I don't know what to do with this cash. I can't quit my job or pay off my house, but I don't want to leave it in the market. And no, you can't have it.
8: I don't know if I should keep trying to reap Theta from this stock, but I am "playing with the house's money," so why not?

My biggest lesson this week came as I was responding to a @PlugInFUD post: I would rather get paid than be right.
As many in $TSLAQ have grown apart, and as viewpoints on controversial topics cause fissures, I offer: You're only insane if it doesn't work and you keep doing it.
