Following one defeat after another in state and federal courts I am sure a lot of folks are wondering just how @realDonaldTrump can remain in the White House. Simple. His path to victory rests on one word: CERTIFICATION.
So how does he accomplish getting 270 electoral votes? There are a couple of strategies that are playing out right now.
1) Fight the results in court. There are couple of legal strategies the campaign is taking. Each of the 6 battleground states had issues with GOP vote counting observers not being given access to actually see each ballot so a challenge could be issued for problematic ballots.
This is just one of the legal battles the campaign is pursuing. There are a number of other legal suits filed by the likes of @LLinWood and @SidneyPowell1 which are pursuing different strategies that highlight in their own way the election corruption.
The other strategy the campaign is pursuing is lobbying the state legislatures. This started with PA on Wed and will continue with other state legislatures next week, starting with AZ on Monday. The Constitution states the state legislatures are the ultimate authority in...
...determining choosing of electors to vote for President. Many state legislatures have delegates this authority to positions within the state executive branch and may need to convene an emergency assembly to retake their Constitutional authority. PA is pursuing this option.
Why is this important? Because either candidate needs the votes of 270 electors on December 14. If all of the 6 battleground states came to an impasse and could not certify their electors then you get a map that looks like this:
There is a final step in choosing the President which saw its latest form come about in the election of 1876. There is something called the Contingent Election that takes place in the House of Representatives. Each state gets 1 vote to cast.
That one vote goes the the majority Congressional delegation for each state. So for example if you live in FL the GOP is represented in a majority of the congressional districts and would presumably vote for Trump.
Right now there appears to be 27 states that have a majority GOP congressional delegation. Since the winner needs to achieve only 26 out of 50 to win the election it appears that Trump would win a vote in the House.
So to be clear, if all legal remedies are insufficient to throw out fraudulent votes without disenfranchisement of legit votes so that Trump achieves 270, then the strategy is to make sure Biden doesn’t get 270 thru a lack of certification by state legislatures.
All of this must be determined by December 14 at the latest. A lot has to go in @realDonaldTrump’s direction either way. There are a number of combinations on this map that will achieve either goal.
Do not be disheartened. God sets up kings and removes kings according to Daniel’s prayer. If you’re a believer then none of this matters. Pray for the right outcome according to God’s will, not our own.
