Argued with someone on Instagram because they thought this moment on the recent episode of #StarTrekDiscovery was "SO WRONG" because we never saw Picard press record in that moment in Unification. Yet, having a shot-for-shot recording of Spock's death in TWoK was fine in TSFS.
So, what? I guess the Enterprise has a camera crew on standby to film critical moments for the flight recorder?!
If you don't like Discovery, that's fine. But I have never EVER seen anyone with a critical point of view that, forgive me, makes sense. Haters always hate on the show over such trivial things -- things that older Trek has done, too, but is somehow acceptable. But Disco? Nope.
