Both games were very close with Kobe being super clutch and guarding Jason Kidd

The Lakers won Game 3 by 3 points (106-103) and won Game 4 by 6 points (113-107).

Shaq was definitely the Finals MVP of that series, but without Kobe’s spectacular play especially in the clutch on both ends of the floor, the Lakers wouldn’t have beaten the Nets in 4 games.
