Don’t forget- Richard Pilger, director of the elections crimes branch in the Justice Department's Public Integrity Section resigned because of Bill Barr’s memo & unprecedented actions regarding an election.

Of course I’m speculating but Barr’s & Haspel’s visit to Mitch on November 9 (and Mitch’s subsequent senate floor announcement in support of Trump) leads me to believe things are happening.
Consider this. Are there wild claims from Powell/Giuliani/Ellis that would cause CNN/NYT to report anything they have uncovered...even if they call it a conspiracy?
