Easy to get paralysis by analysis when you study a business for too long. So I find that really short, big picture ideas help keep my mind free.

Here's a short description for some businesses I like:

FINTECH - $ADYEY, $SQ, $STNE

1/ $ADYEN $ADYEY: Single stack, global, multi-channel payment platform for large enterprises; duopoly with Stripe

2/ $SQ: Cash app and POS terminal can create a network effect; lots of optionality with software solutions and more

3/ $STNE: The Square of Brazil; 50% of all Brazilian e-commerce transactions processed with Stone, still very early; hubs improve customer experience and make it difficult to replicate

E-COMMERCE - $SE, $MELI, $SHOP, $FTCH

1/ $SE: E-commerce and digital penetration in SEA still low, population huge, take rate upside, enormous optionality

2/ $MELI: E-commerce, digital, and fintech penetration in LATAM still low, population huge, enormous optionality

3/ $SHOP: Amazon counter-positioning, brands go DTC, overall e-commerce penetration still low, great optionality and leadership

4/ $FTCH: Luxury shopping moving online still extremely early, platform model extremely lucrative for brands, customers love it

DATA - $SNOW, $MDB, $ESTC

1/ $DDOG: Easy out of the box infrastructure monitoring service; will grow as number of servers grows; optionality and fantastic economics

2/ $CRWD: Cloud endpoint security platform; moat is AI; will grow as number of servers grow

3/ $FSLY + $NET: Nuts and bolts of modern internet infrastructure; edge will take some spend from cloud infrastructure layer

4/ $TWLO: Cloud communication APIs with multiple levers of growth; dominant position in a fast growing market, fantastic, acquisitive leadership

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - $TEAM $FROG

1/ $TEAM: Helps teams + software developers manage work; number of software developers is a long tailwind, highly acquisitive

2/ $FROG: Software delivery system; Number of applications/websites will continue to grow for a very long time

REMOTE WORK - $DOCU $OKTA

1/ $DOCU: Paperless transactions, huge TAM; saves time and money - remote work is a boon

2/ $OKTA: Helps businesses manage authentication to apps and websites; security and work from home are both long tailwinds

GAMING - $U $EVO

1/ $U: Platform for game development, 50% of all games created with platform; take rates still low, engagement very high

2/ $EVO: Live online gambling taking share away from other forms; B2B model very profitable; extremely innovative
