Unfortunately, this is where business minds, with little experience in football, could be unhealthy for football clubs. @bluecollarfood are local, fan owned, doubled traffic for food outside the ground and improved many fan’s match day experience. On top of this, they are a catering company who went out of their way to create amazing plans to increase the match day experience. (Extremely rare)
We have no pubs, or many places where fans can gather that add something to a game day. In the long run,a better pre match and half time experience will make coming to the games far more enjoyable for some;and could increase our dwindling attendance; which has financial benefits
I hope that the club review their decision upon fan reaction. For (presumably) the CEO, who has never experienced a match day with the fans in the stadium, to make a decision like this without fan consultation (that i know of) is ludicrous.
