A year ago, the Iranian military launched a direct, unprovoked attack against its neighbour, Saudi Arabia, firing dozens of cruise missiles and armed drones against the world's largest oil processing facility. A brazen act of war. What happened? Nada. Nobody's itching for this.
Before that, they spent months mining international shipping. Before that, one of their diplomats was arrested in Germany trying to execute the largest terror plot in European memory. Iranian-built missiles crash into US embassies and Saudi international airports almost monthly.
Its militias run roughshod, shooting and disappearing activists, journalists and unfortunate civilians from Beirut to Baghdad to Mashhad with utter impunity and sustain the butcher Assad in power. Its most consistent tool of diplomacy with the West is kidnapping for ransom.
I am against war and the reason we don't have a war is because every sane person involved agrees. It's not for some lack of cause or opportunity.

Pray it stays that way.
