It’s a devastation. Where is the science that says it is safe to gather in a church, or go to a cinema - but not to a theatre?

People can go to restaurants. They can go to gastropubs. They can go to galleries and museums. They can go to churches. They can go to cinemas. 1/4

People can go to cinemas. They cannot go to theatres.

This is WRONG.

What is the difference between attending a film and a play? Behaviourally, there is zero difference. Zero.

We have worked so hard to create safe spaces for our artists to create, for our audiences to attend. Did we pay too much attention to that, and not enough attention to making the case to be allowed open? We hoped that logic, science and fair play would prevail. 3/4

This separation is wrong and it needs to change.
