Jacob Rees Mogg is a badly dressed person's idea of a well dressed person. https://twitter.com/TeenageExorcis1/status/1332388616337756160
He doesn't even pull off style within the aesthetic constraints he's given himself. His suits are too big, and are more 1980s than 1920s. It looks like he's off to a Halloween party. There's ways to dress well even if you want to foppishly inhabit the early 20th century!
Exhibit A. This is neither a good modern take on traditional tailoring, nor a traditional take on tailoring full stop. It is, instead, the tailoring of someone who wants to dress as if they're from the past, without any sense of the things they reference. Just astonishingly bad.
@dieworkwear might have thoughts.
The jacket is bad but the trousers are the main issue, given that they look like they're from a different suit from the jacket.

And don't get me started on the shoes.
Fire whichever tailor measured the break on these trousers.
You versus the guys she told you not to worry about.
You versus the Japanese Emperor she told you not to worry about.
What you got vs what you ordered.
I don't even really understand what's happened here. Why would you ask for a Zoot suit jacket with tapered slim legs and sleeves that are about the only possible length that is wrong? Go baggy, or go sharp. You can't mix both in the same suit!
Like, this isn't even the outfit of someone who's trying to dress eccentrically. It's just so thoughtless and half-assed.
Look at what he's trying to do, compared with what he actually achieves.
