When @JohnLocker_UK announced his suspension of the @wandbc LTNs, he made much of apparent opposition from the Springfield Hospital @swlstg. It now seems that they didn't oppose the LTNs at all. They just felt they could be improved and wanted to be involved. 1/n
The response to the FOI request also reveals that @JohnLocker_UK misled fellow councillors and the public at the full council meeting that took place on 14 October. He spoke in reference to @TfL's recent changes to the A24. 3/n
This is what he said. It clearly claims that Springfield Hospital had highlighted that the recent A24 changes had resulted in a detrimental impact on patients and NHS staff. 4/n

In response to the FOI request, @SWLSTG has confirmed that they contacted the council only in relation to the LTN that was in place around Springfield Hospital. Not any of the other LTNs. Nor the @TfL A24 changes. 6/n
The FOI response reveals that @SWLSTG wrote to @wandbc on 16 October, concerned that their views were being misrepresented by @JohnLocker_UK 7/n
