NEW: 3rd Circuit appeals court in Philly denies Trump campaign's request for emergency injunction in challenge to a district court's ruling last week to stop certification of the vote in PA.
"The Campaign’s claims have no merit," court writes.
In its narrow appeal of Judge Matthew Brann's decision, the campaign had asked for leave to file a revised version of its original complaint.
The 3rd Circuit denied that request too, saying the campaign's "allegations are vague and conclusory."
The court smacked the Trump campaign early in the ruling saying it offered neither "specific allegations" nor "proof."
"Calling an election unfair does not make it so."

The court also referenced Rudy Giuliani's own words stating the campaign was not alleging fraud in this case.
This ruling by the 3rd Circuit is pretty much a total repudiation of the Trump campaign's federal suit in PA.

Jenna Ellis says that she & Giuliani will now take the case to SCOTUS.

But even if SCOTUS rules in their favor, the best they can get--assuming the high court stays w/in the boundaries of the case--is a return to the district court on a new complaint. https://twitter.com/JennaEllisEsq/status/1332380180065738754
As @KlasfeldReports reminds us, this round defeat for the Trump campaign comes in a decision written by Judge Stephanos Bibas, a Trump-appointee. https://twitter.com/KlasfeldReports/status/1332382871022170117
In other words "activist judicial machinery" means a judge the president appointed and the GOP-led Senate confirmed. https://twitter.com/JennaEllisEsq/status/1332380180065738754
It may not be the most important aspect of the 3rd Circuit's trouncing of the Trump campaign's PA suit, but finally judges have started taking notice of the "repetitive litigation."
