I say this with gentleness and deference but:

People are not “lazy” when they aren’t clicking through a lot of steps to get to your work. I realize that the person acknowledges that everyone online is constantly overwhelmed. But not diving deep into a stranger’s page isn’t lazy
the people out there aren’t “lazy” because you, the artist, are supposed to go to the audience. Take your perspective off of your own needs and you will recognize that the duty to get your work in front of people is yours alone.
I humbly beg cartoonists to think of someone besides themselves-especially when they are complaining about the success or struggle of marketing their own work. It’s not random people’s job to psychically awaken, realize you exist, track down your work and wares. It’s your own job
