I first learned about narcissism from the POV of a victim. A lot of the language is really dehumanizing & creates a one-dimensional monster.

I'm still working on that complexity.

Because people who abuse should have consequences, but there needs to be space to show people *can* change even if they rarely do.
But maybe one of the reasons why they rarely change is also all the messages saying they're unchangeable monsters.

Since victimhood and perpetration is not mutually exclusive, we as a culture need to figure out a different approach.
He touches a bit on the connection to trauma in this video. I am still a bit uncomfortable with the empath/narc binary often used but will sit with that a bit more to figure out why.
