He is Different.
His character is quite different from many other characters / MCs in the Shonen Genre. He starts with everything a family, friends, and people who generally care for him. Whereas most Shonen Main Characters always have a troubling past or something holding them

back ,a clear example would be his father Naruto ( an orphan who had been treated horribly by basically the entire village + a demon fox inside of him ).
He is Relatable
Many people hate him for his actions and usually may say "He hates Naruto " or "He is an ungrateful brat ". This shows how hypocritical people can be because many go through these problems on a regular. Where they want their parents/someone who they hold dear+

+attention so they would do anything to achieve it and that's what Boruto did.
It is also evident through Boruto's actions that he did these things so Naruto can acknowledge / give him the attention that he wanted .
His Goals
Within the first few episodes of the anime, Boruto had already decided that he didn't care about being a ninja. But as we saw him grow more and more we got to see more of what he wanted to do. It may be simple but for now, he wants to Become a Shinobi like Sasuke +

+and to protect the village from the Shadows. It may not sound as flashy as wanting to become Wizard King or the #1 Hero but it doesn't mean that it's something bad.
I love him because I understand the character and I can relate to him , I also want to see him grow and develop more and to also achieve his goals. His character thus far has been interesting and I can't wait for the future .
