1/ Here’s a short thread on something I’ve been thinking about when it comes to this stupid game we all enjoy.
I’m going to use Antonio Gibson as the example, given all the tweets we’re seeing about him balling out yesterday.

2/ Maybe I'm wrong, but the better part of the FF community seems caught up in false dichotomy.
You were either in on a player, or you weren't.
I'm not saying I don't, or you shouldn't, have opinions. Sometimes even strong ones.
But on someone like Antonio Gibson...

3/ Wasn’t suspending judgement until you actually saw how he performed in the NFL probably the smart thing to do?
Sure, he looks great. And I’m sure you can look back and tell yourself all the reasons why that was always going to be the case.
But that’s hindsight.

4/ Maybe you landed on a lot of Gibson by some sort of smart process.
But you don’t have to victory lap or atone for ‘missing’ on Gibson. It’s okay to suspend judgement on a player. That doesn’t mean you didn’t see what the potential could be.
