Some problems with Frum's piece here.

First, Flynn may not have been involved in STONE's convos with Trump abt WikiLeaks. He WAS involved in a post-Podesta convo abt reaching out to WikiLeaks (prolly when pardon talk started). https://twitter.com/davidfrum/status/1331806721174593541
Second, Frum suggests that if Flynn had been more centrally involved in Trump's ties to RU, he "might have lied more strategically and precisely." Except he DID lie strategically. He and KT McFarland were lying to other Transition colleagues in real time!
Finally, until we see the pardon, it's really not clear how much this helps Trump.
That said, NO, it is not the case that this pardon is invalid.

It is the case that it may not help Flynn and his family as much as they think. Or Trump, for that matter.
