I used the closed captioning function on Zoom to add live captions to a live stream recently, and it worked really - so I wanted to share a quick 'how to' thread, in case it helps anyone else make their meeting or live stream more accessible.
Step 1. Enable Closed Captioning

Log in to Zoom.
Go to My Account > Personal > Settings
Hit the Meetings tab, and scroll down (a lot!) to the In Meeting (Advanced) section.
Enable Closed Captioning.

Step 2. Activate Closed Captioning

Open your meeting.
You should now have a CC button along the bottom.
Tap it, and you'll have the option of assigning someone to type, or typing yourself.
(there's a third party option, but this guide is for when you need to do it yourself)

Step 3. Type!

I switched off my camera, and typed short sentences as quickly and accurately as I could.
They appear for all participants.
