KBFC played their best game till now in that first half. The system was working like a well oiled machine. Players where on their correct positions. Each player understanding and executing their roles well. The 4231 was intact. (2/14)
NEUFC is a team who plays by disturbing the buildup of the opposite team. They press high and agressive at the start and then fall deep to lay a solid block. Not only we where press resistant we never allowed to distort out shape in the first half

Once the goal came through a defensive mistake from Costa, the team as a whole lost it's shine. The defence lost it's confidence.

The team started panicking plus NEUFC got the confidence they came back solid and played as a unit.

KBFC started loosing possession for the same press which they breaked in the first half. Confidence on the ball matters.

We started giving NEUFC spaces in BETWEEN THE LINES.

Now to some positive points from the game
1. Rohit played well . He did put a shift . He contributed to Gomez and Cido well. And the best part is he's only 23 and will only get better. Heatmap from @SofaScoreINT

2. Nishu Kumar was our best defender by a mile. He was every where. Never afraid of playing a progressive pass. But he isn't back to his match fitness yet.

3.Seityasen was the best player for us imo. He worked well off the ball and on the ball and on both wings.

Costa is a player with vast experience in his bag. When you concede a goal as a result of a mistake from a set piece it's natural to lose the confidence. But a player of his experience should have coped with it but wasn't the same after the first goal.

It's normal for a team playing with such intensity lose the fitness after 60 min plus in their first games. So from what I have witnessed from the first half this is a huge positive when compared with the earlier game. Fitness will come as the team gets more min.
