Thinking about "taste" and data emissions in the context of social tokens, after a conversation with @shivmalik yesterday for my @rally_io column:
@streamr is a data union platform. A group can put their data in a stream, put it up for sale, and split the payments that come in.
Communities forming around tokens may have cultural preferences for things. This is the 'curation' or 'taste' graph that they form. For instance: @galaxyRTK $rng has a community of game devs; @whatdotcd $fwb is just.. generally cool people, etc
What might be done with the various products of 'taste' making in these communities? One idea is to turn them into a Streamr data product. For instance, maybe the links channel on $fwb discord is streamed. These are esoteric, hard to find, curated links on internet culture.
This turns a community's 'tastes' — an aggregate of the community's curation activities — into a flow-generating product.
It could be one way for communities to co-create productive assets.
