Reasons why this would be a great signing (A thread)
1) Versatility: We can finally get rid of the Spanish paella merchant and the Italian pizza chef. If chilly gets injured Alaba can always fill in the lb spot
2) Experience: He’s won everything there is to win and will bring that winning mentality to our squad. Tomori, sarr, mbuyamba can learn tons from him and Thiago. He’ll be a great for chilly too after all his years at left back
3) He’s in his prime: He’s in his best footballing years and will help make us contenders for even the biggest competitions like the cl
4) Competition from other clubs: lots of other clubs want to sign him but none are agreeing to his wage demands. However none of them have Marina. She’s going to work her magic and make him agree to a 200k a week deal. We’re clear
