What are the 3 biggest mistakes the UK has made in its approach to negotiations?

1. Not determining what type of relationship with the EU to aim for before starting negotiations.

2. Not consulting closely enough with businesses about what forms of market access are most commercially important.

3. Not heeding the advice of trade experts, particularly experienced negotiators, about how negotiations work, how long negotiations take and what tactics are likely to be successful.
