In April I had covid, it developed into pneumonia which put me into intensive care. turned out it was a blessing in disguise because when I came out of icu and put on a ward. I couldn't piss, so they said I needed a biopsy on my prostrate.

I was released from hospital and had beaten covid, sdeveral weeks later I had the biopsy on my prostrate, that developed into sepsis which landed me back in hospital, while in hospital I was told I had stage 3 prostrate cancer. this was august.

by the middle of November I began radio therapy 20 sessions 5 days per week [exluding saturdays and sundays] I'm almost half way through, it's due to finish on 16/12/20...needless to say it's been a hell of a year, as it has been for all of us.

Without Covid I might not have known about the prostrate cancer, I don't go to doctors. I think I've been [prior to this] once in about 10 years.
Guys if you are experiencing bladder retention or slowing down of flow when you piss don't do what I did and think.

"it's just the ageing process" it may be and it may be nothing but get it checked anyway because if caught earlier it's much easier to deal with.
I will be glad to see the back of this year for a multitude of reasons.

Despite all this I'm still quite fit and strong and have massive support from my wife and family. I don't feel hard done by, I feel fortunate to have people around me who truly love me and that is worth more than anything this world has to offer.
