TW//terrorism, casteism, police brutality, death, mention of rape

26/11 perhaps one the darkest moment in the country's history and still afresh in a lot of minds even today. The time that saw 166 deaths and those 166 lives aren't recoverable and they never will be.....
... but here's a bigger statistic - 178 lives, these 178 lives weren't lost because they were in a terrorist attack, they weren't gunned down by terrorists, they were gunned down by us, you and me, the society. These people died in a gas chamber, gas chambers that you and I..
.. Like to call gutters/sewage tanks/septic tanks. These are the govt statistics to lives lost in the years 2018 and 19. Lives of people who are forced into manual scavenging, who because of society are forced into inhumane treatment. The SC/ST prevention against violence act...
.. Came in 1989, manual scavenging act in '93 and rehabilitation act for manual scavengers on 2013. Despite complete banning of manual scavenging for the last 28 years, 54,000 manual scavengers were recorded in the year 2019, more than 845 have lost their lives since 1993'....
... The number of jokes, usage of slurs against the DBA's in this country is as increasing as the statistics above. The amount of people who outraged yesterday over that tweet, from apolitical Twitter, centrist Twitter, even the left Twitter (leaving RW Twitter out of this).....
... If they outraged for even 10% of that, against casteism, these deaths would've mattered. You're not against oppression or social injustice, you're against oppression which the society deems fit to fight against, you're not going to talk against the oppression which the...
... Society has normalized. You talk against the reservation system, and fail to acknowledge why that system is. You guys share memes which are casteist, sexist, homophobic, racist, xenophobic, ableist and transphobic. I hope you guys call yourself out, like you did yesterday...
... i hope you guys think that getting doxxed and getting rape threats and death threats are justified everytime you make a joke out of someone's oppression. No one should be at the reciveing end of either, but more importantly no one should be at the propogating end too...
.... 88 rapes are recorded in a day in this country, 427 physical police custody deaths have been seen from 2016—19, this is not an official number since the govt has stopped NCRB to give these statistics since 2015. Remember to outrage equally the next time when you see...
... Someone slightly making fun of any form of oppression. Outage over rape jokes, outrage over jokes on terrosim, Islamophobic jokes, racist jokes, sexist jokes and homophobic jokes, remember to talk about the opression of the unheard and the opression which is normalized...
Because if you don't, you're just as vile and irksome as the RWs, no matter if you want to or not be associated with them.

Side note : I'm not comparing any of the opressions, neither I'm belittling one or the other opression, I'm just talking about the measure of outrage one...
... carries, i hope that all outrages are just as equal and loud, and yet not as vile as doxxing and threatening. I do realize I'm in the wrong here as well, and i do not want to justify it, I just want to apologize for not fighting against all forms of oppression equally.
Even if I get as much amount of likes as the retweets i got when I called out people for joking on a terror attack, I'll Consider it a win.
