au where eijun is a senpai on the team who never makes it past 2nd string until his 3rd year when he becomes ace after partnering with his juniors, chris (17) + miyuki (16). koushuu (14) who sees eijun and follows him to uni instead of hs and has to fight chris + miyuki for eijun
an eijun who, before meeting chris and miyuki, grew tougher mentally due to his drive for ace but has lackluster pitches besides the fact they moved at the plate. eijun shining in his third year only BUT going on to take the university-level baseball world by storm
eijun who was well-liked by his peers on the second string but was also feared because they could tell hr had the potential. if he had better guidance then he would shine even brighter. best senpai eijun who never once resented his peers for moving on ahead while he stayed stuck
koushuu determined to catch up, to be like him and thw catchers said to have helped the rising ace so he goes to seido ans he's partly fuming bcs he learns of how eijun wasn't rwally given a chance for a while but also koushuu in awe bcs eijun grew to be so great even then
a chris who gets injured yes but a chris who never had to go rehab bcs eijun told on him and had him checked early on. a chris who respects his senpai and wont stop at anything to make sure eijun could shine his best witu his help, because eijun made sure he kept shining too
miyuki who learns how to socialize better thanks to eijun encouraging him to be friendlier. miyuki who has fun messing around with a pitcher who can keep up with his calls. a miyuki frustrated that even if it looked lile teijun was chasinf him, it was the other way around
furuya satoru (15) who has no eijun to fight against for his own growth, but has a sawamura eijun to look up to in newspapers and magazines. a furuya that tries to achieve ball control like eijuns but has a harder time socializing than canon
kuramochi who enjoys beating his senpai roommate at video games and wrestling with him, willingly buying drinks for eijun even when eijun says there's no need. a mochi who's frustrated that he'll never know what it's like to field for his ideal ace until university (if he passes)
a haruichi who stays ins his brothers shadow for msot of his high school until college where he meeta eijun and learns to think for himself more, to be more adventurous in his tactics bcs an adventurous ace needs adventurous fielders, and haruichi will prove his worth here
an asada who only hears stories of the legendary sawamura eijun who came from nothing and took so long to be worth something in the eyes of the world, but was always eveyrhtung to the second ans no stringers. an asada who thinks if eijun can do it, so can i
it's a miracle for everyone that eijun, resident idiot, chooses to do both agriculture and literature "for the future and for more baseball!"

his university team watches as their already shining ace shines even brighter with the new recruits surrounding him.
wait. an amahisa who never becomes ichidai's great ace, but goes pro anyway. an amahsia whov watches college level baseball, wondering what it would be like to play eijun, because something tells him—he missed out on smth great
WAIT. a takatsu who's given up on baseball and enters eijuns university for its courses. but he sees eijun play and he knows of him and je regrets quitting bcs—bcs if eijun can do it, he might have done it too.

he picks up baseball again. he swears he'll make it to first string.
thinking of furuya in awe over eijun in uni and is both shy and happy eijun considers him as a rival. furuya feeling eijun doesn't know jsut how good he is, and how furuyas only come here to learn from him but now he has so much more https://twitter.com/sagikaashi/status/1332175781745684480?s=19
thinking chris miyuki koushuu rivalry for eijun while they help each other out too bcs its no fun beating someone when they're not at their best. eijun loves them all equally but its no secret he spends most of his time with his batchmate catcher, kariba, n his other junior, yui
imagine all the eijun fans in seido coming together whenever eijun has a game to watch live!! bringing up eijun in casual conversation using his games as examples or references!! sayinf "i could've fielded better for him" "id call better shots" https://twitter.com/sagikaashi/status/1332177585824886786?s=19
a mei with no sawamura eijun to threaten his position as reigning southpaw pitcher but instead a mei who aims to be half as good as eijun is in pitching (because as an ace, he knew eijun beats him by a landslide and mei can't beat that charisma—he knows, it got to him too)
a sanada who's ideal of an ace is sawamura eijun, the pitcher who came from nothing and became something then everything. an ace who carried the ideals of his team but without compromising his own growth. a sanada who aims to be as reliable as him +
but knows he can't ever match or beat eijun's drive to be ace—bcs sanada doesn't really want that glory; he just wanrs to help, have fun, and pitch all he wants.

but seeing Eijun's doing all those and more... maybe sanada can try and learn smth that's more applicable to him
