One of the things that really bothers me is when Armys believe that solos antis support the member they’re a solo for when that’s never true. 1/?
Their support is always conditional, inconsistent, and centred on their imagined version of the member that they project themselves onto. JJKs supporting Stay and not Telepathy, PJMs refusing to support Dis-ease and FTMR, etc. 2/?
Another glaring lack of support is their refusal to support group tracks unless “their” member is credited. At the end of the day BTS is a group; they’ve been a group for 7 years and decided that they want to do the same for at least 7 more years with continued fan support 3/?
But solos don’t care. In their minds their supposed fave is being forced, brainwashed, too “pure” to understand that the others members and fans hate them, or is a blatant liar and manipulator pretending to get along with the group. Is that love and support? 4/?
Like if you view BTS as soloists in the making BTS can be understood a 7-14 year collaborative project from 7 soloists. Fans are supposed to support their faves including their collabs but solos despise that and actively encourage and attempt sabotage. 5/?
Like no one can make you support BTS as a group and team instead of obsessing over one member but at least be honest that your goals don’t align with that member’s or come from wanting to support them 6/6
Extra: For Armys reading this consider how common solo antis/ akgaes are and think about the success levels of soloists that used to be in groups. 1/2
Solo antis and akgaes love to say their the only ones supporting a song or member but that’s never true. These people always end up stanning groups on the side but their songs don’t get similar success to BTS b-sides. Don’t fall for their lies. 2/2
