2/It reminded me of the terrible tests done on POC. Like the men in the Tuskegee study who were told they were given free medical care and instead were given syphilis or were intentionally not treated for it.
3/As terrible as this is, it's even worse because (rightly so) there is reason to not trust medicine and people suffer twice for that. They miss out on getting good care twice! First, for intentionally giving false treatments then secondly, they avoid care due to past experiences
4/I'm very pro-vaccine but I can be because I don't have a history of being racially targeted for testing without content.
5/So next time I see an anti-vaxxer warning about the evils of medicine I'll try harder to understand where they are coming from.
