I tweeted couple of days back about the prospects of BJP in 2029 elections wherein I said BJP will win 90 to 100 seats out of the total 133. Let me get into the details of how and why.

In 2014 BJP won 23 seats. 17 from KA 2 from Goa 1 from TN 1 from TS. These 21 seats are purely based on its strength. They won 2 seats from AP due to their alliance with TDP.

In 2019 BJP won 30 seats. 25 from KA 4 from TS and 1 from Goa. They lost the other seat of GA by a very narrow margin. Lost Kanyakumari from TN.

Scenario for 2024.
Karnataka will go to assembly polls in 2023 May and BJP is likely to make further inroads in Old Mysore region and will win Karnataka very easily and this will be repeated in 2024 Loksabha winning 26 seats including Hassan and Mandya (Sumalatha will join BJP)

Telangana goes to polls in Nov 2023 and BJP will make further progress. May not come to power but will give a tough fight to TRS. In 2024 LS elections BJP may win 8 out of 17 seats of Telangana

BJP will win both the Goa seats. In Andhra , YSRCP will continue to win, but BJP will make a small beginning winning 2 seats out of 25.

Tamil Nadu, BJP will continue its alliance with AIADMK and will win 6 seats. But the biggest results of 2024 will be from Kerala where BJP will 3 seats. Mark my words. BJP will win any 3 seats out of Palakkad, Thrissur, Pattanamthitta, Attingal & Thiruvananthapuram.

So in 2024, BJP will win 47 seats from South.

Move on to 2029.

Karnataka will see small dip - 23 seats.
Telangana will increase to 13 seats
Tamil Nadu will be totally saffronized after 2026 Assembly elections - 32 seats and Impact will be felt in Puducherry too.

If BJP wins another term in 2024, there will be complete turn around in Kerala in Southern and Central districts by 2026. The so called demography is applicable only 5 northern districts which sends 7 MPs out of 20 and from the remaining 13 seats, BJP will win 9 in 2029

Coming to Andhra Pradesh, remember Andhra goes to assembly polls along with loksabha and Jegan will be facing a 10 year anti incumbency and with Congress and TDP not in the picture, there is only one option for the people and its BJP and it will win 16 seats out of 25

Yesterday Football Legend Maradona died. He made his mark between 1982 and 1994. He made a big impact on the people who are born between 1970 and 1985. Even after 25 years people talk about his skills.

Now Imagine the impact Modi is making on the people who are born between 1985 and 2010. By 2029 people from age group 18 to 60 years would be seeing 12 years of Modi as Gujarat CM and 15 years of Modi as Prime minister. Thats a whopping 27 years!!! and the Impact will be huge.

Remember Modi says this in his elections speeches that 65% of our population is below the age 35 and this is what he is tapping into for BJP for the future.

We see a lot of Congressmen and Communists born in 1950s and 1960s. They are because of the impact Gandhi, Nehru, Indira, EMS, Jyoti Basu etc made on them. That generation is slowly on its way out. Its as simple as that.
