That's why I think the "ban politicians travelling to hospitals abroad & healthcare in Nigeria will be good" narrative is incomplete.

You can actually get good healthcare in a Nigerian tier 1 hospital. Just be ready to pay. https://twitter.com/NaijaFlyingDr/status/1331924865415307264
Same thing happened when I got COVID19. I woke up at 3am and I could hardly breathe. It was so painful. I knew with all the work I was doing that I was likely to catch it so I was sleeping in the spare room.
I think I lost consciousness for a few minutes, but somehow managed to crawl into David's room and make a noise that sounded like his name.
He was so sscared, managed to bundle me into the car and took me straight to a tier 1 hospital that had outcomes from COVID19 which were the same as the UK.
However, in my semi conscious state, my inner Peter Obi manifested to remind me that the deposit for COVID19 patients is N10m.

That gave me number gave me the strength I needed to tell David to turn away at the gate and go to my office where I have plenty of oxygen.
Then we went to Medplus to buy the drugs.

People say that rich people suffered during the lockdown because they couldn't fly out. That's not true. They just went to the best tier 1 hospitals, paid their 10m and enjoyed 5 star treatment.
There are places that can offer good healthcare here in Nigeria. Just if there are six in your family, what proportion of Nigerian households can afford to pay N6m for insurance?

God bless you as you think about this.
