Long🤓thread ahead.
•Percent increase in active cases for young GREATLY EXCEEDS all higher ages
•Above % incr. applies to virtually EVERY MONTH from May-Nov, not just school mo.
•No clear evidence that teachers pass virus to children
•Children may be driving community spread
2/ For valid comparison:

•Calendar months can't be used. Insufficient BC CDC data. “Month”=28 days.
•All “monthly” graphs are scaled 0-150%.
•An xx% increase in one month is not necessarily same as xx% increase in another. Percentage is a relative measure, not absolute one.
3/ BC schools shut down since Mar 13 (spring break). Unfortunately, no trusted BC CDC data is available from Mar. Situation Report data is usable from May 4 for my plots.

From May 7 to Jun 4, schools resumed w/online learning. Note: 0-19 & <10 yr groups show HIGHEST % increase.
4/ In-person attendance started first week June. Many HS kids (e.g., SD#39) had optional face-time w/ teacher 1 or 2 days/wk, 1 or 2 courses (teachers: accuracy check🙏).

Again, 10-19 and <10 showed HIGHEST % increase of all groups but ALL ADULT GROUPS TRENDED LOWER.
5/ School still in session most of July. HIGHEST increase: 10-19 yr (84%). 2ND HIGHEST: 20-29 yr ADULTS.

<10 yr % increase DROPPED SIGNIFICANTLY to 31%.

Great July weather. Are young adults 20-29, 10-19 yr SOCIALIZING w/ large groups? Also, <10 yr spent more CLASS TIME outside.
6/ August: Schools are out. Youngest groups clearly have highest % increase when combined. But 20-29 yr is HIGHEST single group.

Warm weather should have helped to dampen spread. Apparently not, for above 3 groups.

@jjhorgan THERE WERE NO TEACHERS TO BLAME SPREAD TO KIDS.
7/ Schools reopen. HIGHEST % increases: 10-19 & <10 yr. HIGHEST is <10 yr (113%).

K-7 kids have largest class sizes~30. Gr 8-12: smaller class size/half day. Are K-7 kids as shown in Bonnie Henry video spreading virus closeup during recess? Except smart Asian girl who wore mask.
8/ Sep ends, nearing Oct 24 election day. HIGHEST % incr. in 10-19, < 10 yr: 91%, 98%. All 5 WORKING adult groups WHICH INCLUDE TEACHERS are MUCH LOWER. Adults <49 yr have % slowed down from previous graph, DROPPING while kids are RISING.

STUDENTS SPREAD AMONG THEMSELVES.
9/ Election Oct 24, now roughly one month after. WHOPPER INCREASE of 149% for kids 10-19.

EVERY SINGLE AGE GROUP EXCEEDED 80% INCREASE.

Epidemiologists may now comment on whether or not this is community spread. I am unworthy.

ELECTION GOODIE: HORGAN SCAMMED US ALL.
10/ Last 2 graphs give 3-month perspective. Two 84 day periods: Jun 9 to Sep 1, Sep1 to Nov 24. From resumption of school in June, 10-19 & 20-29 yr show HIGHEST % increase over all others.

With a HUGE 423%, 303% for school ages, Bonnie Henry says it's SAFE to start up schools!!
11/ Roughly school start to present. ALARMING 713% & 663% increase for school kids, OUTPACING ALL OTHER GROUPS.

But NOT community spread, according to the global microbe hunter & her assistant who talks to viruses. As in: "Kids don't infect, teensy weensy droplets fall quickly".
12/ Summary:
1. KIDS SPREAD AMONG THEMSELVES. Our PHO claims that kids don’t pass the virus easily to adults, contrary to expert opinion.
2. IT IS HIGHLY IMPROBABLE THAT TEACHERS INFECT KIDS. Active cases increased as a percentage for school-ages with no teachers around... (more)
13/
3. On 28-day graphs, EVERY ONE SHOWS KIDS ARE MUCH MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO BECOMING INFECTED THAN ALL ADULTS.
4. As many school children circulate MASKLESS on playgrounds, THEY DRIVE THE INCREASE FOR THEIR COHORTS and are LIKELY FUELLING THE 2ND WAVE.

#COVIDzero IS A MUST.
