2- #Monazite is a mineral highly rich in #REE, with a particular high concentration of those required to create magnets used in EVs, for example. This picture from Medallion Resources 2017 presentation gives you an idea of the #REEs that can be found.
3-However #monazite contains thorium (2%-14%) and uranium (0.05%-0.3%) that must be removed before it can be sent to the separation plant. Enter $EFR $UUUU. In the US there is no facility licensed to do this except for White Mesa, not even $MP.
4-$MP whose valued at $1 Billion US, states in their presentation that they only see themselves in magnets in 2025 and beyond. Further, they are required to send their material to China due to the lack of a US separation plant at present.
5-A large source of #monazite in the US is Chemours $CC. There are deposits and stockpiles available for processing mainly in the southeast from what I understand.

6-After processing by $EFR $UUUU it then requires separation. As noted there are no separation plants in the US. Enter their arrangement with Constantine Karayannopoulos, now the CEO of $NEO.to, and their NPM Silmet facility in Estonia.
