Okay so, I was rewatching the BvS video I plan to do a rebuttal on.

They’re of the “Superman only cares about his friends and loved ones” (which as anyone who ACTUALLY watched the film will tell you, its bullshit) camp so I didn’t expect much, but holy CRAP.
So, apparently: Superman saying “you’re my world” to Lois makes his sacrifice unheroic.

For whatever reason, the idea of a person caring for his loved ones and being justifiably concerned with their wellbeing cannot function without it meaning that they care EXCLUSIVELY for them.
What about all those situations where Clark saves people he doesn’t know? Or hates?

No mention in the video. None, nada. No mention of Clark’s investigation or him staying to save the survivors of the bombing. Or him saving others since childhood. Or saving Lex. Or sacrificing his life for the planet thrice, twice of them by nuke and via World Engine.
When told in the comments that he should watch the UE, he said

Well then silly, then maybe start including the scenes that DIFFERENTIATE it from the TC?

Same can be said for all the parts of the film you didn’t purposefully twist to fit your broken narrative.
If I could describe this person’s video in one word, it would be “painful”. However, its the NECESSARY kind of pain. Its something I believe ALL film reviewers, essayists and analyzers should watch and learn what NOT to do.
So I guess its worth something, in one way. Idk.
