To those who ask, Why does Trump keep going with his lawsuits that hold no water and keep failing in court?

Well, among other things, it's because it’s a very effective way to get money from his base and push through his future agenda.

Details follow👇🏼🧵
On November 9th, Trump registers a PAC (political action committee) called Save America; through it, he’s able to collect millions $ to fund campaigns, trips, events, logistics, etc. This will give him leverage over the future of the Republican Party.👇🏼

Once Trump realized he lost the election, he rushed to create a money-collecting machine that is not linked to the presidential campaign, he did so thinking in the next stage of his political life, while manipulating his base by claiming he won.👇🏼 https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1326158760826560515
Another step he took, was to get rid of expensive Law Firms replacing them with cheaper options, such as Rudy Giuliani and his infamous legal team. So Giuliani, while pretending to proceed with legal battles, becomes a propaganda machine, requesting money from the base.👇🏼
While Trump and his lawyers claim widespread fraud, his team asks for money to support his 'legal efforts.' Donors however don’t read the fine print, which explains that the bulk of the money goes to de GOP, his PAC, and to pay for his vast campaign debts 👇🏼
Trey Trainer, the @FEC commissioner (a Trump appointee), heads the agency responsible for campaign finances oversight, but lately, he has been busy helping spread baseless electoral fraud conspiracy theories.
Trump will leave, but before he will try his best to destroy people’s trust in the system, delegitimize his opponent, collect a fortune for political use, manipulate his base & blackmail the Republican Party, he will become the most corrosive opposition leader in the US history.
👆🏼UPDATE: According to the NYT and the WaPo, Trump has raised between $ 150 - 170 million through his baseless claims about widespread fraud, spoiler alert... the money is not funding his legal "battles"... the vast majority of the funds are going to his own PAC.
👆🏼UPDATE Trump's campaign acknowledges that they have raised over $207.5 million in donations after election day, a key motivation behind Trump's latest actions, They released this information just before it is made public by law in an attempt to control the narrative.
