1/ When did money stop telling stories?

Picture an old woman, her daughter, her granddaughter and her great-granddaughter standing in front a huge, moss covered limestone disk with a hole in the center. All four of them with their hands on the stone.
2/ "Your great grandfather used this stone as my mother's dowry when she married your grandfather," the old woman said to her daughter. "Then your father and I traded part of the small farm we built to buy it back years later. We did this for you, Daughter".
3/ "Your father and I used this stone to expand the family's stock of palms, taro and breadfruit plantings and the land to cultivate them on," the daughter told her own daughter.
4/ "After many years we traded part of the well expanded farm to buy back this stone and for access to the ocean so we could begin fishing to add to our wealth. We did this for you, Daughter."
5/ "Your father and I sold this stone for the materials we needed to build some fishing vessels so we could expand our family's fishing business out into the open ocean," the granddaughter told her daughter.
6/ "Before you were born we had built ten fishing vessels, expanded the family farm, built an estate for you and your descendants to nurture into the future and had enough wealth to buy this stone back.
7/ It will be passed down to you, Daughter."
The youngest of the women looked up at her mother, looked back at the stone, giggled and ran off chasing a lizard.
8/ The old woman looked at her future and told them that this stone has always been and always will be an integral part of their family's life.
9/ It's as integral to them and their identity as the food they eat, the people they love, the businesses they build and the trades they engage in.

When was it we stopped allowing money to be part of our histories?
10/ When was the last time humans made transactions they remembered; that were important to them?

I can find the famous 'Pizza' transactions made by Laszlo and look at it. We tell stories about it.
We have #Bitcoin Pizza Day; it's a celebration. There are many of these transactions in the Bitcoin Timechain and they tell fascinating stories as well.
