Do you understand how this new RNA vaccine works?

I didn't think so.

Because if you did there's no way in hell you would have it.
Here's a nice layman's explanation from GP Malcolm Kendrick.

https://www.rt.com/op-ed/507587-covid19-vaccine-safe-coronavirus/amp/
"This type of vaccine being developed against Covid-19 has never been used before, outside of Ebola.

Some people feel that they should not really be called vaccines, because they are completely different from anything that has gone before."
"They isolated the section of RNA which codes for the ‘spike’ protein – which is what the virus uses as a ‘key’ to enter cells.

They then inserted this small section of RNA, messenger RNA, into the cell, where it takes over a part of the cells protein replication mechanism."
"They turn the mechanism into a 3D printer, churning out copies of the spike protein.

These spike proteins then leave the cell – somehow or other, this bit is unclear.

The immune system comes across them, recognises them as ‘alien’ and attacks."
"What, as they say, could possibly go wrong?

With something this new, we don’t really know.

We are told that none of the mRNA can get into the nucleus of the cell, where it could become incorporated into the DNA. I hope so.

Could it trigger an immune cascade? I hope not."
For those of you thinking

"I'm sure the scientists know what they're doing."

No. They don't. They really don't.

It's a gold rush. They have been told to produce something quickly.

There is no liability. They have no incentive to make sure it's safe.
