THREAD: Today we’re focusing on the work of our Restorative Approaches group.

Restorative Approaches (RA) is a whole-community approach to promote and maintain positive relationships. This video explains the concept of RA for adults and young people.

We made this video to demonstrate the 5 key Restorative questions. These can be used with young people to restore and rebuild after difficult situations.
These Restorative questions are used when things have become challenging, to help young people take part in the process of mending. These empower young people, lessen shame, and help them develop empathic skills.
If establishments or school staff are keen to learn more about RA, this infographic summarises its benefits, its evidence base, and the RA CLPL that GPS offer.
