2/ the current state of transactional medicine spurred on by Fee for Service has been a growing cancer on the heart and soul of healthcare. Reducing your relationship, your time to simple billable codes and RVU's has destroyed the foundation of trusted primary care relationships
3/ The advent of telemedicine has such promise to enhance access, but that promise cannot be fulfilled without also enhancing relationships. It also speaks to the problem you are trying to solve - if you just want to create access, then bolting on telemedicine can kind of work
4/ Apparently, Zoltar medicine is all the rage now. However, "put a quarter in, get a prescription" is never going to truly solve the many, many issues we face as a country, as providers, and as care givers. It has been bizarrely fascinating seeing those models take off
5/ To me it just highlights the absolute demand that exists for the advantages of this models, but the first iterations are missing what matters most - trusted relationships that can dig into the issues that cause the need to access care in the first place
6/ Digital enhancements to how you interact with your physician, and increasingly more importantly your entire personal care team, will be the wave of the future. This allows the best of the digital access with the human touch. Expanding the reach and capability of the care team
