Rules to live by:

1) My political opposition is allowed to exist

2) Just because I disagree with my opposition does not grant me the right to attack them as racists, commies, fascists, etc

3) It is unacceptable for me to lie about my opposition. In return, I expect my opposition be civil and also not lie about me.

4) I will seek to understand why my opposition believes what they believe. I will seek to explain why I believe what I believe.

I will do these things because I fundamentally believe 2 things to be true:
1) We can find common ground, regardless of race, gender, sex, nationality, religion or creed.
2) We become better, more capable human beings when we seek to resolve our differences.
