HAPPENING NOW: A group of Trump supporters are outside Eric Garcetti’s house protesting public health safety measures for COVID-19.
The crowd chants “recall eric”
Moderate police presence, over a dozen officers. A group gathering at the end of the street. Per LA ordinances, you can’t protest directly in front of a residential property. As a loophole protesters will often circulate in front of residential properties.
Big lag in posting. Shortly after the last clip, police declared an unlawful assembly. The crowd refused to disperse.
The police mark one minute left for disperse. “Well god bless fucking America,” one protester says.
Tensions very high, with police pushing one protester as they continue to drive the crowd away from Garcetti’s house.
One protester says that police have to “pick a side“
