I worked oil & gas for 30 years. I used to work for an awesome company called PrimeWest. We specialized in acquiring failed companies. If the previous management team drove their company into the ground, there's no way we kept them after the acquisition.
Those that get you in trouble are never the ones that get you out. So many people have a hard time understanding that. We were "cleaners". I even gave some of my staff nicknames from movies, like the "wolf" from Pulp Fiction.
If someone from an acquired company told me "That's not how we do things", they were immediately reminded that they were under new ownership for a very specific reason.
We need to start firing political management team right away. We fired Notley and gave Kenney a chance (despite my better judgement). We need to fire a whole lot of incompetent government bureaucrats.
