What's bizarre, they are often hydroxychloriquine loyalists too. They eagerly support a mildly dangerous (I know because I prescribe it) pharmaceutical rather than a simple fabric barrier.
Why this disconnect?

I've met a couple of these anti-mask MDs in real life. One tried to sell me his ICO. Another is actually a chiropractor (but intro's himself as a physician).
This isn't to say I've always been right. I underestimated covid-19 early on. But it's a lesser sin to underestimate Covid in February than to deny it in November.
